"That's the fun part of PC, right, all the different compatibility issues, and all the hardware that you have set up. If you're playing with an uncapped framerate, you'd have to catch a problematic animation at just the wrong moment, at just the wrong framerate, to notice it. Producer Mike Fahrny pointed out that these kinds of issues can also be hard to test for at the studio, because they're not going to show up on every PC. "We've seen some of that through development, where a weapon will clip through a body or something, and you never saw that at slower rates." "It's like, 'wait a minute, that looks terrible,'" he said. But when you interpolate between those hardcoded frames to make up for the higher framerate, all of a sudden you'll have a frame where his arm is unnaturally inside the can. Say his movement was a first-person game animation: When it was originally authored for a fixed framerate, the arm's position frame-by-frame would be fixed to ensure it never appeared to pass through the can. Schnickel gave an example by moving his arm left-and-right around a can sitting on the table in front of him. That's like saying "Hey my Ferrari does not drive anymore now every ferrari is bull**** and no ferrari on this world drives anymore".FOV options for old games can also expose animation issues never seen before (Image credit: 343 Industries) But just because it does not work on your crappy machine, it does not mean it does not work anywhere. we know what we are talking about and on my PC Vsync works! So instead saying "it does not work for anyone", say "it does not work for some people". Or do you want to say that all those guys where it works fine are liars !? We don't know what we talking about? No. There are definitly people where it works fine. Don't speak for me and others because you have simply no idea what works on my machine and what not!

say that YOU have a problem and not that EVERYONE has this problem. So do me a favor and if you have problems. He just saw someone with a problem and directly had to spam this thread how bad VISTA is. and he does not even have vista installed. He does not even have VISTA but he spams this thread and says stupid things like "MS wants to kill gaming machines" and "nothing works in vista" and all that other crap. And if I read the first answer in this thread. ONE guy has a problem with his vista or something else and then they flood the forums with "Vista is crap it does not work for anyone". These forums are flooed with those comments. Just because a few people have this problem it does not mean that EVERYONE has this problem. I am not insulting anyone, I just can't hear those comments anymore.

Might be hardware related or whatever, but it's simply not true that " Vsync is not working properly for everyone". Currently I am playing Bioshock and I can give you many proofs that my Vsync works fine there.
